About Chinese Art and Painting Chinese
Ink Painting (also known as Chinese Brush Painting) is one of oldest
art form for a few hundred years that is still in practice now.
Indeed, this Art is using traditional Chinese Ink grinding
process, Chinese Brushes, Stone seal, and Rice papers since Qing
dynasty. The materials are water, ink and rice papers. There is no
oil or binder to be added on. Hence, it is known in Chinese as
Water and Ink painting. When colours were introduced later, it is also
called Colours and Ink Painting. In short, most people refer as Chinese

is the an artist, art therapist and founder of
UniqArts and Technologies in 1995. Mr. Lee holds a Masters of Art in
Art Therapy and a Business Management Degree from Royal Melbourne
Institute of Technologies. Mr. Lee studied his Chinese Brush Painting
at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts under renowned Chinese Ink Master Nai
Swee Leng and Ang Chin
Currently, Mr. Lee practice and teach Chinese Brush Painting and
subjects cover flowers, birds, plants, insects, animals, marine life,
scenery and the like. He also teach Chinese Calligraphy. He is the
creator of ChinesExplorer program where integration of Chinese animated
language history, calligraphy and ink painting into a fun and enriching
learning journey for the students. He is the trainer for culture art
retreat program - Chinese Brush Painting as Heritage Art
