Upper Primary School Art

To provide a higher learning level for students who has strong fine art background and interest. To learn extra fine art skills such as fine sketch, portrait, technical drawing, pencils sketch, still life, sculpture, charcoal, water colour, pastels, poster, acrylic, design, realistic drawing, etc.

To learn more 3D sculpturing with clay, acrylic paint on canvas and some concept and framework of traditional animation. To develop creative thinking and creative problem solving with Creativity-Juice program. To build portfolio for students intend to apply for SOTA (School of The Art) or Direct School Admission program.

Develop advance fine art skills in 2D (visual) and 3D (Sculpture) and to learn application of visual art for different expression and situation. Learn how to do advance level of fine art subjects such as portrait, canvas, sketch.

Develop the advance level of colouring mixing with colour wheel application. Learn the concept, theory and practie of drawing animation. Conducted by qualified and experienced artist. Individual attention will be given. Conducted in an interactive teaching environment. This course covers both theoretical and application of additional fine art learning.

There are wide variety of medium to be exposed including pastels, charcoal, clay, acrylic, water colour, poster colours, canvas, etc. Students will explore and learn the concept, planning and process of traditional animation. Innovative and proven process program Creativity-Juice program is integrated into the program to unleash creativity talent and thinking, shift to more right-brain activity and ability to apply them as part of the life skills.

Teaching Methodologies

Our teaching methodologies are proven to nurture students in their aesthetic development, fine art skills, self confidence, fine motor skills, motion pictures, design, perspectives and creativity.
ARTeach Trained Teachers:
Teachers are trained under a comprehensive in-house ARTeach Teacher training program to understand how to teach art according to child development, child art , fine art development, good practice and philosophy of art teaching with UniqArts and Technologies.

Creativity-Juice Program:
This class covers training about creative thinking, creative problem solving and ideas development through our comprehensive Creativity-Juice program. This program helps to engage the right side of the brain actively and balance with left side of the brain as well.

Creative Art Therapy:
During the art class, therapeutic process is incorporated through our Creative Art Therapy program. Children will be able to express themselves fully and therapeutically. We use Art as therapy and as a safe form of self expression.

Language:

Default in English. Additional request is available for Bi-lingual teaching for both English and Mandarin.

Fee and Duration

$335/= per term (10 lessons, 1 hour 30 minutes per session).
New student to add one time payment of $30 Registration fee and $205 for a basic Art material set with a carrying bag.(material price is subject to stock availability and subject to change without notice).

S$80/= for drop-in session as trial or assessment, this fee maybe offset from the package fee upon signing up immediately after trial. Please contact us for your school or center.
